Preserve Their Heritage - Breed for Their Future

Kunekune Preserve, USA has the largest herd of the rare Kunekune Pigs in North America.  Our Kunes are DNA tested to ensure their heritage and they are registered with the New Zealand Kunekune Association and the American Kunekune Breeders Association.

All of our beginning stock was carefully bred in Kansas by Katie Rigby before her retirement.  We continue the respect for the Kunes by preserving their heritage, while keeping in mind that they are the Maori pig.  Our breeding program reflects these goals with proven success.  We have expanded our bloodlines to include those of Lori Enright, USA Kunekunes, CA. These bloodlines were imported from Andy Case, Long Ash Farm, Dorset, England. Our efforts to breed the correct, smaller pet pig have tripled! Don't forget to check out our News & Events page to see our current news and events that are going on at the Kunekune Preserve, USA. Please feel free to contact us to find out more about these delightful and comical little animals!
